Sexual Violence

Alleged violations of Sexual Misconduct are reported through various means to the Dean of Students and the Office of Student Ethics. Per the Code, and Federal Law (Title IX), the University must investigate all reports of sexual misconduct where a student is involved, regardless of where the alleged violation occurred. In addition, a student may be charged when the acts arise from university activities that are being conducted off campus, if the misconduct undermines the security of the university community, the integrity of the educational process, or poses a serious threat to self or others.

If you have been charged, you will have received a letter notifying you of an ongoing investigation, and subsequent judicial conference with instructions of how to move forward in the process.
