FairTalk at IU is to foster discussions in diversity to promote fairness for all people regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, & strives to achieve this goal through educational outreach & political advocacy efforts targeting HJR6, a proposed constitutional amendment which will ban same sex marriage in the Indiana State Constitution.

Gender Warriors

Gender Warriors is a peer-led discussion, advocacy and support group for trans-identified and gender nonconforming students. No individual must be considered “trans enough” to participate; everyone from anywhere across the gender spectrum may join, including allies. All meetings are confidential and privacy will be respected absolutely.

Grad Pride

A safe place to form social, professional and educational peer networks. IU LGBT graduate students, undergraduates over 21 years of age and community members meet in informal settings to discuss personal and social issues.

Grrrls Like Us
An empowering discussion group for women on the queer spectrum (lesbian, bisexual, asexual, questioning, etc.) ages 18-24 who attend Indiana University. The group provides an opportunity for meeting, connecting, and conversing in a peer-facilitated, safe, confidential atmosphere which actively recognizes the fluidity of sex, gender, and practically every other facet of life. Rainbow Cycling

Rainbow Cycling is a Little 500 team dedicated to celebrating diversity and creating positive racing experiences for young men and women. Rainbow Cycling competed in its first Little 500 race in 2006, qualifying and finishing 27th in the men’s race. Our first women’s team competed in the 2011 Little 500 race, qualifying 30th and finishing 24th.

The Student Global AIDS Campaign (SGAC) is a US-based network of student and youth organizations committed to the global fight against AIDS. SGAC seeks to mobilize a multi-racial student movement, in partnership with students internationally, to make claims upon governments, corporations, and civil society through education, leadership training, informed advocacy and direct action. SGAC demands sufficient resources, effective prevention, and guaranteed access to AIDS treatment and care as a matter of moral urgency.
